Daily Test

We program our systems to generate a daily test on your system to verify that it is communicating with Central Station. It’s scheduled to run at the same time each day and will not affect your alarm. If a signal is not received, we receive a NO TEST report and will then notify you and troubleshoot the cause. NO TEST reports on alarms connected with cellular radios are unusual. Changes to routers or modems will affect Ethernet-connected systems, so contact us before you make equipment changes. If your system fails to test, there is a risk that your system may not communicate at the time of an emergency, so please respond promptly to resolve an issue.

In the event of Power loss

The panel has a back-up battery that will power the system through most typical outages. When power returns: Reset the keypad to silence the alert. Wait for the back-up battery to recharge.

Back-up battery life will depend on the number of devices on your system and the frequency of power outages.
